Pre-Apprenticeship Programs: Building the Next Generation of Remodelers
A Workforce Development Initiative by the Professional Remodeling Collective
The Professional Remodeling Collective is proud to be developing our Pre-Apprenticeship Student Programs, designed to connect high school students with real-world experiences in the remodeling industry—while earning credits toward their high school diploma.
These career-connected learning opportunities are created in collaboration with local high schools and trade programs to expose students to remodeling as a viable, rewarding profession.
Career Exposure with Purpose
This isn’t just shop class—it’s a guided pathway into a professional future. Students who participate will:
- Gain hands-on skills in remodeling fundamentals
- Earn school credit through structured learning and supervised field experiences
- Learn soft skills essential to working in occupied homes, such as communication, professionalism, and problem-solving
- Explore career tracks in carpentry, design, project management, and more
A Chance for Members to Give Back
As part of this initiative, members of the Professional Remodeling Collective will have the opportunity to support their local community by hosting pre-apprenticeship students. Participating companies not only help shape future talent—they demonstrate leadership, community commitment, and workforce stewardship.
This is your chance to:
- Mentor future professionals
- Build relationships with schools and families
- Create a potential pipeline for your company’s future workforce
Bridging the Gap from Classroom to Career
Our pre-apprenticeship program lays the foundation for students to transition directly into our nationally recognized Registered Apprenticeship Programs after graduation, giving them a clear path from the classroom to a career in remodeling.
If you’re a school interested in partnering—or a company ready to inspire the next generation—reach out to us today. Let’s build something that lasts.
